Nope, not with the way we've played. Objectively, our chances are very small. I'd say around 5% or so.

How many people and hockey players are there in Sweden?

Only 2-3 players from this team would make it into the olympic team. That's the case for most of the top nations during the WC. Still we manage to beat the bottom nations with 8-1, 6-1, 10-0 and so on. The gap between the best nations and the rest is big. If teams like Latvia are going to have a chance to win against Sweden they need a great amount of luck. Sweden didn't play well today and yet they won with 8-1...

I've seen all of their games. Switzerland is a tier above us. France looked better and they were unlucky to lose vs. Germany. Germany looked as bad as we did in the 3rd period vs. Sweden throughout the entire game against Canada. Austria lacks skill, but they're better organized and are pretty good in counter-attacks.

Austria, Germany and Latvia look like the likely relegation candidates *based on the first couple of games*.
