Oh, ok. That's cool to know. I am a bit of a language buff, so any info like that is interesting to me. I only really know a few Finnish words and most of them are not repeatable in polite company...

After two periods of play, the Czech dominate but the Finns score. I'm ok with that. On a side note: I hate Saukkonen's commentary.

I feel for Jagr. The Devils had the same issue...Defense was good at times, horrible most of the time and they could never score either

Btw thats a good thing for the final if Finland gets there because we've been the best team to challenge them in this tournament. So that Russia cant get the gold, at least too easily.

Finland is not very good but at least they play with full focus and sacrifice themselves in front of the goals, Czechs show much more skill but they don't seem to want to get their hands dirty in front of the goals and miss a lot of chances ...
If Czechs really sacrificed themselves and played like it's a WC semifinal it would be much better for them but it seems like they will never play with 100% willpower and therefor will never become a top 3 team again for a long time ...

It's not over yet. One period to go at least. Hopefully Rinne plays a shutout so our players won't be too tired tomorrow.
Ironically, before the match I was saying that even though there's a big chance we lose this game, we'd be better opponent for Russia in the finals, we always can play Russia in important games, no matter how good they are or how weak we are. But that doesn't matter, we'll see tomorrow.. I don't expect us to win this game now...

I think Finland has been as good as we waited them to be, I think they could have done still better job. Czech has been surprisingly bad. But if other team plays very good, it can make the other look like a garbage.
