You're right, I didn't see that during the game.

Still, a questionable whistle, but the refs did play according to the rules, so that's our problem.

They should bench Abols, or at least limit him to offensive zone starts. I don't say this lightly, but he's a major liability in the defensive zone at the moment. Just bad overall defensive awareness and way too risky plays in front of his own net.

He's obviously not used to this level yet and it's understandable, considering he played in the juniors for most of the season, but the coaches should act accordingly.

He seemed to have good FO% in the first game though
 
So, we will not break the Czech curse this time again, it seems. Cannot stand to watch Latvian games! Austria beat Switzerland today, we better pull ourselves together in the next ones.
