3:0 by Tikhonov.

Good showing by Germany. I wish they had played more like today in the rest of the wc.

Hope Ovechkin will be alright again.

My God, what a terrible game by Team Russia. I have not felt such disgust at this tournament. Hope it's a single game like this.

Meaningless tournament-wise. It's okay. OVECHKIN, what the puck were you thinking to go in like that in a game like that???

The refs helped Germany?
You mean when Russia got a 5-on-3 for nothing?
When Marcus Kink got a penalty out of nowhere and Müller got one that was rather questionable?
Or how about Kink getting a penalty for Ovechkin missing the puck and losing his balance with no German being involved. Heck, Kink wasn't even anywhere near him, the closest one was Seidenberg and he didn't do anything at all either. That one ended up making the difference as Russia scored on the powerplay.

The refs were atrocious all around, but they sure as hell didn't help Germany.

They just said on TSN that Ovechkin left the arena in an ambulance.

Right. How about you try to give a proper answer instead of bs like that?

I admit 2 consecutive penalties are rarely given, But they should be according to the rulebook. Shoot the refs for playing by the rules.

Both 120% calls. Obviously not when you are german.

I see how you want to see it. But don't act like you expected the Germans to win it just like that. Russia gave it under 50% effort today and still won. Maybe you should stop hiring clown-coaches and give guys who know hockey(Krupp) a chance instead of complaining about the refs. German hockey is in a free fall since Krupp was gone.

That's IIHF reffing. It's the same for everybody. Germany had it's share of PPs in the game too.

Now, since we clinched the group, do you think we're gonna help Belarus get into the quarters?

They could do it on their own, they just have to beat Latvia in regulation!

But why not, Russia will probably not play 100% anyways, since it's the QF's the day after.

They suspended the German player who hit Ovechkin!?! How in the blue hell you can get suspended for that???

Firstly, there is no reason for getting personal, secondly, you probably have watched a different game. Moreover, I don't see why German "is in a free fall". I just remember, there was a tournament in Sotchi, where the Russian team....
