Come on Russia!

This is the only game that separates us from Canada-Russia final.

Last 10 senior-level meetings....

2004 WC - Sweden 3-2
2005 WC - Russia 6-3 (Bronze)
2006 OLY - Russia 5-0
2006 WC - Tie 3-3
2007 WC - Russia 4-2
2007 WC - Russia 3-1 (Bronze)
2008 WC - Russia 3-2
2009 WC - Russia 6-5 OT
2012 WC - Russia 7-3
2014 WC - Russia 3-1 (SF)

Russia's on quite the winning streak, which I suspect will continue today.

All winning streaks come to an end eventually. My cash is on the Swedes today. but should be a close and entertaining game.

Well i think so to! but then again im pretty sure Russia can beat Canada! now when Ovechkin will com back to a semi:D and I'm all happy with that.

There is something called the Semi-finals too

Of course he means to say the US will be a walk-over. With Ovechkin joining on Saturday, I'd say at best they have a better chance of not losing :naughty:

Rooting for Russia because I'd like to see Ovechkin play Crosby in the final of this tournament where it might finally register as slightly more than a blip, sorry Tre kronor :handclap:

This will be the first game I watch but looking at the rooster I gotta say: Damn...what kind of Swedish team is this, the juniors?

They'll still beat Russia easily though.

Did the ticket prices tenfold for the playoffs or something? Because the atmosphere just doesn't seem the same including the games earlier today.

Possibly Znarok's last game as Russia coach. That is a very wonderful silver lining to the scenario of us losing in the QF.

What are you talking about? The USA already kicked Russia's ass. And our blind coach has chosen to not change anything since that game.

Still the same dysfunctional lines as at the start of the tournament.
