The amazing part is that he can still be physical. Jagr can still use his body to lean towards guys and force them out of puck. Usually players lose all that sort of stuff well before 40 even if they can continue playing otherwise.

Jagr trains more than any other player out there. After team trainings he usually stays on ice an hour longer, puts on weights on his legs and skates and shoots for the whole hour. He usually does the circles near the goal on and on again. It's also on youtube, he did a 2-part session on his solo-training for the youth (in czech of course).
