He has tried to temper expectations and has stressed that Johnny's size will be an issue that won't be easy to overcome. But he has also said that if any small player can overcome his size, it's Johnny Gaudreau. If guys like Cam Atkinson, Brian Gibbons, and Nathan Gerbe can become NHL contributors, there is no reason Gaudreau can't. He is light years ahead of where those guys were at the same age.

No not really but he opened his mouth about his size and then backtracked. Gaudreau's parents may have had reservations about Burkes comments.

He also sent Conroy to Philly to get the kid signed.
