Some positives for Denmark. We werent blown, we had few pk, and the shot difference was not bad. Also se competed hard. But we are very bad at scoring on our chances which makes me fear Norway.

Congratulations Sweden. Very solid performance.

Sweden was the better team overall but without Nilsson playing like he did, with a few big saves, it could have been a lot closer.
Good luck in the rest of the tourney. Rooting for you guys.

Ok game by Sweden. Denmark looks better than previous years, they have some nifty forwards and seem to have a coherent game plan in the offensive zone but their defense is just not up to snuff. At times they were cones out there.

The D has always been a problem. Oliver adds some strenght, but he is slow. Larsen is good on offence, but still Shaky on D.

We have to be more effective on O, or Else things Will get ugly.

You too. I really have a lot of respect for Sweden for never underestimating us.

I always root for you guys anyway:P

Nilsson had some sick saves today. If those shots would've got in, I believe the game would've gone to overtime.

Good game by both teams. Denmark looking shaky in own zone and Sweden like they had another gear to run if they needed. Overall for Denmark is quite ok. When the opposing teams defense doesnt consist of nothing but NHL-players and SHL-players I believe that our team will be more dominant in the offensive zone. The gameplan seems to be working also against the big nations, though still bearing in mind that this was the opening match and some teams still have some details to work out.

I am quite confidant that we will win some games against lesser competition, but dont want to jinx anything at this point. Our problem in hockey history has been to deliver big against big nations and then lose stupid games against Norway and Italy where we on paper were stronger. Hoping for a quarterfinal, but lets see how far this system can take us the first year. Our depth down the middle is my big concern, we could really use Nielsen, Eller and Regin in the faceoffs.
