imo he's going to stick. I don't know whether he'll be a 20-20-40 guy or more - it's too early to say, he's clearly still learning that there are things that worked on the bigger surface that simply do not work here. but he knows how to use his size, and wingspan, and he wins puck battles. that's not going to change. he has a good sense of pacing on the rush, and he can shoot the puck.

it'll be interesting to see if he learns to handle more effectively or make decisions more quickly in tight spots, or ends up playing a simpler game cycling instead. that will make the difference between a 2nd line winger who can grind and score vs. something more.

even if he ends up a scoring gridner (imo likely) he'll be better than the 30 goal scorer who is either on a heater sniping corners from impossible angles, or hurting his team with his turnovers, and by that I mean Kyle Palmieri.
