Obviously his deal with his KHL team has been terminated. I find it very weird how he hasn’t signed yet. There is no negotiation to his deal he will get a ELC with max bonuses. I think he has requested a trade that’s why he hasn’t resigned.

If he has requested a trade what will he return? I’d offer Marner, Knies, Woll and 1st from a leafs POV.

He terminated his contract when the Yotes moved to Utah. It hadn't been an option earlier, but he's always dreamed of playing in Utah and now he's doing everything he can to make it happen.

Nevermind the rest of the ridiculous post, but holy overpay batman... That would completely cripple the Leafs for years to come.

I know it's fun to dunk on Mickey Mouse Marner, but if Michkov ever becomes 80% of the player Marner is that would be considered a success. There is no guarantee whatsoever that Michkov will be a better player than Marner, who has become very underrated around these parts. But then you add a power forward in the making, a good goalie and a first, all for a 5'10 forward who's not very good defensively and might or might never be a force in the playoffs? LOL

sounds like while technically his contract could be bought out, its sounding like SKA will continue to hold his rights and if he doesnt make the flyers team he goes back to SKA since they would block the ahl option, at least that is what is currently being said
