I bet you could probably find a trade partner for him. He's not a top 4 D on a good team though. He'd be a really good #5 on a contender. The issue is he is ALWAYS hurt. I don't know how it happens either. He plays a softer game than Power.

Sammy is somehow a softer version of Smehlik. Never thought that would be possible

With his salary, injuries, low hockey iq, and the fact he has a letter lets hope he 's out the door this summer. But finding replacement D is not a good trait for KA.

He’s looked even better now. Gotta cross our collective fingers he stays healthy. That starting PK unit of Sammy, Clifton, Tuch and McLeod has been real solid.

More like need to get Dahlin a back brace to carry another partner. Everyone who plays with Dahls looks better, even if the shots for and against are not in their favor now. Granted, that could be some deployment stuff as they are reducing Power's minutes late in the season.

Even playing with Dahlin, I think he's doing better individually. He's doing better things along the boards IMO. He's been much more physical over the last 2-3-4 weeks. The cobra strikes are starting to come back.

He still needs to be better with the puck on his stick -- which was always his biggest question mark as a prospect. But, his game is coming around.
