He's a top 10 all time favorite King for me. Up there with Luc, Kopitar, Doughty, Gretzky, Taylor, Deadmarsh

Amazing how many people have Deadmarsh in their top 10. He only played one full year with the Kings. Not sure if it was that tremendous series he had vs the Red Wings or the fact he was Dustin Brown with hands. That Palffy/Allison/Deadmarsh line was deadly. To bad they never were healthy to put up numbers together for a whole year. They would have put up 100+ goals easy.

I appreciate that I will be in the minority, but major props are due to a number of the 70s players, specifically Butch Goring and Mike Murphy...

Watched an interview with him a couple of years ago in Swedish tv.

He was asked where he felt most at home during his years in the NHL. He answered LA and then added that he never really wanted to leave.

I understood the rationale of the trade, but it pained me to see him get traded. And in the end the return looks pretty bad.

The trade looked awesome during Moller's rookie season though.

That's the thing with grading trades on this board: give up a bunch of picks and you get robbed but those picks may turn out to be Wudrick and Cameron.

DL got a good return but they blew the picks.

Normstrom was a beast, but sadly when i think of him I think of a pretty bad era in King's history.

He is one of the best King's of all time, but I was pretty happy when he was traded as it really signaled going for a full blown rebuild.

When I think of him, I think of Forsberg's spleen! :naughty:
