Leafs would get a good return for Matthews. But losing him, Marner, and Tavares might = rebuild.

If you don't want to rebuild to last 7-10 years. Toronto needed to traded those superstar for multiple draft pick + young prospect. What a dumb idea to give Marner a Full No trade close in his last 2 years of contract..... I'm sure they try to sign him last summer (or asked him to lift his close).

They could end up losing them both for nothing.
