I notice this whenever I watch him play, his speed specifically is weak. Skating in general, mediocre. It gets the job done similar to O'Reilly. Obv doesn't need it with his overall effectiveness

Oh cmon theres no way Perry was considered slow by the standards of when he broke into the league.

I don't remember him being considered particularly fast, but the NHL of 2006 had guys like Jason Allison playing second line minutes, and Derian Hatcher was a top 4 guy on a competitive team.
