Good for potrias, it's a bucket list item for any young hockey player that has an expiration date before he is too old to play. Should be fun, love watching this tournament through the holiday season

And on the positive side, no Patrick Brown tonight. Only seven more to go . . .
Opponents are on to Poitras and he doesn't have the space he did. He's also getting knocked around.
That's a major reason why World Junior's is a great place for Matt to be. Playing with and against elite talent closer to his age will give him a breather and should boost his confidence.
Sweeney and Montgomery better communicate what they expect of the player and how his minutes will be managed. If they do so, there's nothing wrong with "load management" relative to occasional nights off.
But don't treat a nineteen-year-old like a yoyo. Be straight with him and I'm sure Matt will understand and do what's best for himself and the club.

Number One C for Canada for a good Canadian boy is A HUGE DEAL. Matt has to be honored major, and the message it sends about how well he is regarded is really special.
He had some good plays ,but also made some not so good plays . A careless pass that was intercepted easily led to a breakaway and a goal for the swiss.
Is he playing Center or wing?
