UFA is achieved at age 27 (by July 1st of that year) or 7 pro seasons, whichever happens first.

I forgot that DSP made the Ducks at age 19. 2017-18 would be his 7th pro year, so a 2 year deal would take him into UFA. Might have to offer him a 1 year 'show me' deal if that's the case.
