Target wasn't the head? What?

He leaped off of his feet and literally made the head the initial point of contact.
He spun around and threw his back into him. That’s not targeting the head. I’m under the impression the initial point of contact isn’t the rule anyways, it’s targeting the head.

The whole “leaving your feet” issue has pretty much always been attached to people who are throwing elbow, forearms, fists or sticks into someone’s head while driving up into the them. Yes he left his feet and left caution to the wind by spinning but he pretty clearly isn’t targeting the head. Unless he used his scapula to do so…..which would be a first. He deserved to be kicked out of the game for leaving his feet. If that hit gets two games we need to see them give Marchand or someone two games for leaving the feet when he does it.

There were two separate Major reviews.....

One for the Charging hit on Cernak

And one for a Boarding hit on Mac,

They never called a penalty on the second one and from how it was explained they can't retroactively give a 2-minute minor when there wasn't one initially called.
That's interesting, I didn't think you could go to video review if you didn't call a major penalty.....so if nothing was called, how did they go to review. I'm sure I have that wrong....or perhaps there is a coach's challenge that could have been made....again, not sure if that's possible, I didn't go back to the rules.
