Wasn't the meeting supposed to find out about the intent? Joke of a league. It just seem like Rempe has a slow processor. He can be such a useful player for us. Again joke of a leagueEither the kid learns from this and reigns it in or he gets the Raffi Torres treatment in the near future. I really don't care much either way.
I just wish the league was consistent. If Wilson and Bennett were getting 8 games too, then ok. For Rempe to get 8 when those guys don't get suspended at all feels like the league is picking favorites.
When it comes to the DoPS,it's tough to say what's really relevant or not with them nowadaysBeing injured is relevant for DoPS suspensions. If Heiskanen had been seriously injured on the hit the suspension is probably longer than 8 games.
He's got some family to visit. He'll be back January 9th. Hold tight.Free Rempe
being injured or not doesn’t matter. It’s the action and intent that does. Just because the player was lucky enough to not be injured doesn’t make the offense any less terrible / gross. It matters to me in most cases. I hate when a guy is out injured for 60 games but the punishment is only 2 games. Will the Dallas player miss any games?
I'm saying it matters to me not to the enforcement people.being injured or not doesn’t matter. It’s the action and intent that does. Just because the player was lucky enough to not be injured doesn’t make the offense any less terrible / gross.
Knee slide hits from now on .I'm not sure how many strides will equal one Knee Slide......the Rangers should look into that before we have another Avery rule applied .Looking forward to reformed Rempe.

Did Buch get anything for crosschecking Mantha across the face in the Tom Wilson payback game?
If he keeps making stupid dirty plays and injuring opposing players, he's going to keep getting longer and longer suspensions. I'd say it's not rocket science, but with the amount of denial in here, maybe it is for some of you.
