This probably gets it done, assuming Hague is Michael Hage and not some other prospect I don't know about. Would prefer for one of the firsts to be in 2026 if possible. Essentially 3 firsts for Barzal and two for Nelson, plus two of our own is the ammo you need for a re-tool. I'm extremely against trading Barzal, but I really like Hage and maybe one of those firsts helps us move up in the first round this year.
I've said it in about a million other threads but Barzal is only available for an overpay or in a package for a prolific goal scorer (talking Thompson, Pastrnak, Robertson levels of production). Many who are looking from the outside in will miss the context of his stats and injuries and try to leverage their own misunderstanding into lowering Barzal's value. That's not how it works.
