Ha.******** on the guy for one defensive blunder and a penalty?Really reaching here, aren't we?

And Hank is the reason we're in 8th,not Nash

Yes some goals you get lucky on just like some great passes and shots you do not get lucky on. I'm hoping they even out for Zooks because most of us have seen him create a lot of great chances that did not produce points.

You do not like seeing his fans praise him. I understand that but that is a reflection of you not him. Your distaste for his fans leads you to see things in a manner that is not clear. For instance you just said in a previous post just said you bet he has at least 3 tripping calls this season when tonight's tripping call was actually his first tripping penalty this season.

I couldnt care less if his fans praise him,but be fair when you do and realize theres more than 1 side of the ice.

And he has 2 tripping calls that i remember

Right,Nash and his 8 or 9 3rd period goals and countless game winners has nothing to do with it

Euro hater?way to sound stupid :handclap:

Not bashing him,its great he put up points tonight,i just want to see the same effort in the defensive zone from him.

Your Nash comment is just plain silly. If it wasnt for him, this team wouldnt even be in the 8th spot right now.

yes....that's true......but reality is that he has Dogged quite a few backchecks and defensive plays. And it's not just the one against Tavares in the Isles game that comes to mind. It was evident last game vs the Flyers, and even tonight a couple times against the Panthers. And I was at tonights game, paying specific attention to Nash.

I'm Nash's biggest supporter......but one has to admit he's not the most sound and responsible when it comes to the Defensive aspect of the game. Nor he should, just like Zuccarello. Both are here to create and provide Offense. The few D lapses are to be overlooked imo. I don't see Jeff Carter playing good D nor hustling back for coverage. But he has 25 Goals.:sarcasm:

First you said he has at least 3 tripping penalties.

Now you say he has 2 tripping penalties that you remember even after I told you that tonight's tripping penalty was his only tripping penalty of the season.

Like I said before you are seeing what you choose to see but facts are facts. Tonight's tripping penalty was his only tripping penalty this season.

You just sound very unhappy about the modest success of various Rangers players.
I get happy seeing Zuccarello contribute to those oh so elusive goals, and Nash too.
I just wish the team showed some slick whip-smart passing. They don't do that.

This is my last comment, but it is to say you are off base on Zuccarello, but if you need to grind your axe, grind away.

Dude, Nash is awesome, but are you really going to say he's single-handedly responsible for as many wins as Hank?

of course not,and nowhere did i say that.Obviously no player is ever going to be as valueable as Hank, but without Nash, this team would not be where they are now

I love how you tell me what i am,when you dont even know me LOL

yes,im clearly unhappy when my teams players have modest success.

But thanks for telling me how i am,now i can go to bed easier tonight.I dont really care what you think about my opinions of Zuc either,i know what i see.I dont need you or anyone else agreeing with me to make me feel better about how i feel lol

This is the way I like to look at it.

You wanna **** on the players that played badly even though the team won? Do it to the players that deserve it. Zucc played a good game tonight and one defensive blunder and a penalty shouldn't change that

I'm not even trying to come off a as a Zucc fanboy. When he has a very bad game I'm not just gonna let him slide

You are very welcome.

Huberdeau had gotten the Panthers within 2-1 with 4:43 left in the first when he used a brilliant skating move to get around Zuccarello in the Rangers end and beat Lundqvist with a shot for his 14th of the season.

Yahoo's description of Huberdeaus goal. The guy made a brilliant move. Zooks got smoked just like most fwds in the NHL would have got smoked. As I said before sometimes you just have to tip your hat and give credit when another player makes a great play.

I don't expect Zucc to stop a 220lbs forward at full speed. If he tried we'd probably have to search for him up on the concourse somewhere. And that cat actually made some slick moves, Zucc didn't know what happened until the puck was in our net, nor did Hank. I wouldn't call it a defensive blunder, he was simply outmaneuvered.

Very true. And i think most of the Rangers forwards would be outplayed there.

When Zuccarello scores 2 goals in a 6-1 Ranger game, draws a penalty and plays another good game, and people still piss on him about the one penalty he takes and the 2-1 Florida goal, we are talking about hate. Seriously, hate.

How long before Zucc drops the gloves with someone? I mean, he obviously isn't afraid to engage players several sizes bigger. Just look at the Toronto game, where he called Phanuf "a cute little feline". I'm glad he didn't drop them with Phanuf, but the time might come sooner or later.
