#ThankYouIggy
Rules:
UPDATED PLEASE READ
Each person gets to make two picks per game. There are 2 options: Option A: 1 'favorite' and 1 'dark horse' in which case you can win 2 points for the favorite or 4 points for the dark horse. Or option B: 2 'dark horses', in which case you can win 3 points for either of the picks. A favorite is any player that is more likely to score a goal, the dark horse being someone less likely.
The list of players considered favorites for now are:
Sean Monahan
Johnny Gaudreau
For clarity this means You can pick any player as your favorite pick, but cannot choose any of the players listed above as a dark horse. They used 5 guys, but I decided to go with 4 as #5 in goals per game last year was Mason Raymond
Points are awarded as follows:
Option A: Dark horse (4 points)
Option B: Dark horse (3 points)
Option A: Favorite (2 points)
Pick Flames to be shutout (1 point plus eternal damnation)
If you select the right situation [ES, PP, PK] (1 bonus point)
You can only pick Flames players to score the first goal of the game. Opposing team's players do not count. Pick 2 different players
An example of how your pick should look is:
If you choose option 1:
Favorite: Hudler (PP)
Dark Horse: Kulak (ES)
If you choose option 2:
Dark Horse: Raymond (PK)
Dark Horse: Engelland (PP)
Once the official game time* has passed, no more picks are allowed. Please make sure to get your picks in ahead of time to be fair to everyone. Good luck!
*Official game time is the scheduled start of the game as stated by the NHL (and Calgary Flames) schedule. You will find it included in the thread title.
