I would do a 2nd or 3rd and like Niemella for him. Dallas seems to like Finns. Send them one more.
Yeah that's probably pretty close, I still think Robertson is in there somewhere

Yeah lower the pick from a 2nd to a 3rd or 4th and Niemella and Robertson can go.Yeah that's probably pretty close, I still think Robertson is in there somewhere
And he's a guy who uses his size. We are not talking about Nick Bjugstad here. To your 2nd point, I can see Geurin being very interested in Marchment. They might not be the most skilled, but having a forward group with Marchment, Foligno, Hartman, Trenin, and JEE would be a PITA to play against.6"5 and close to 220? I think Berube would like that very much.
Because Berube is an NHL coach and what NHL coach doesn't?

I would think that Marchment would have quite a bit of value, though a bit less if the acquiring team eats almost all of the AAV. A late 1st? 2nd plus a good prospect? DAL is a really good team. I can't see them being interested in losing talent. I think it's far more likely that they send a pick and Dumba to some non playoff, D starved team to gain cap space, not trade Marchment.
Toronto offer a 2+3+Niemella can be easily beaten by other teams who want him
Another team would beat that, easily.A 2nd and a 3rd would actually be a solid offer considering their cap space
The thing is they do need to clear space and they don't really have draft picks to package with Dumba
Kind of ironic for you to be saying that DAL doesn't have the draft picks. Leafs have traded their all of their firsts, and one of their 2nds over the next three years. Trading a 2nd and 3rd would leave them with 1 2nd and two thirds in the top 3 rounds over the next three years. Toronto has a bad prospect pool that is only going to get worse over the next few years due to the lack of picks. That's fine if they are getting to the Cup finals like EDM or FLA, but they aren't.A 2nd and a 3rd would actually be a solid offer considering their cap space
A late 2nd and late 3rd can be beaten by a team offering just their high 2nd in 33-38 rangeA 2nd and a 3rd would actually be a solid offer considering their cap space
