He doesn't have exactly the greatest reputation and that's not including all the sexual harassment stuff.

Given the volume of fake rumours from random YouTube bloggers, I'd say there's a long history of people making this type of stuff up quite regularly.

Ah meant to come back after I posted this  it seems you CAN make this shit up. I saw Spider-Man 3 trending on Twitter and fell for it. Apparently that source isn't a good one for MCU rumours, sadly. If it was anyone other than Spider-Man, my inner child wouldn't have taken over in hype.

I'm watching former Collider folks John Campea's (TJCS) and Kristian Harloff's (SEN Live) shows and neither has mentioned this. That says enough about it's credibility.

I mean...it makes sense. Wanda/Vision sets up a house of M storyline which we know is leading into Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness...establishing MCU multiverse. Sony knows Spiderverse was a huge hit and bringing back mcguire and garfield in a live action version would regenerate interest in those properties. It also gives them flexibility to make more Spider movies on their own while still connected to the MCU.

All that being said...I still like the Daredevil team up better.

Although King Pin was in Spiderverse...
