There can only be one, and I'll down that ***** if we get blown out tonight

You are hereby invited to my superbowl party.

Back to the game though, I have a hard time imagining a win in this one. Need Henrik to be Henrik and some puck luck on top of that.

Oh. And they just need to get the puck deep.

this is my drink for the game... as long as I don't have too many

LGR I think it will be a hard fought game. If the Rangers push the pace they maybe able to squeak this one out.

I've got about 1;1/2 sifters left of this badboy:

....and will enjoy it on pure principle because of all your posts.

edit:

Should be a fun one tonight. Two fast teams with good defenses. I feel like it will be a tight tight game with mistakes more than anything being the reason one team squeaks out.

Excited to see Klein not be noticeable, in the best way possible. Keep the scrappy Backes and Oshie out of the crease as well.

I live on the edge. I drink wild Turkey 101 and Coke.
So I read the GDT )which is great) and I feel a victory for NYR tonight
And I predict a shutout for Hank.
There I said it and I feel good about it.

Let's Go Rangers:handclap:

I have such an unhealthy obsession with Bourbon... Scotch just doesn't do it for me.

Might as well say "I have such an unhealthy obession with bandy. Hockey just doesn't do it for me"

Just kidding, taste differs and all that. But from my experience most people who love a good bourbon will also become a religious drinker of scotch, given a proper introduction to the "right" brands.

its funny people said the same thing about the blackhawks games. "we are gonna get killed " and yet we we beat them

But this team isn't as good as the hawks:sarcasm:

Chicago with 76 points and St. Lou with 71 which not that much of a diff. And Blues are a +56 goal difference, highest in the league which means they score a boatload of goals and the defence is one of best in NHL too.

So we should be concerned. But as you said we beat the Hawks in Chicago sooooo.......

Haven't seen all that much of St Louis, but I think their goaltending is very spotty. I'd think their goaltending is what makes it unlikely they'll win the Cup, it has cracked several times before in the playoffs.

I saw the goals the Devils scored the other day, most were very soft, and the later ones came when the Blues knew the game was over and they were just mailing it in. They are very good, especially defensively, and they're good at slowing the game down, so obviously this could be a tough game. However, we lost in St. Louis by one goal when we stunk early in the season, so a mismatch this isn't.

I happen to think the Rangers are a lot better than people think, especially if Lundqvist and Nash continue to get back to form.

Surprised there isn't a little bit more tension considering where we are in the standings and the importance of these games.
