This kicking rule is for safety. Razor sharp edges kicking at the puck is not a good idea. That's asking for injuries.

Agreed. All 3 were awful, but Kreider's sitting around his man's ankles just kinda halfheartedly waving his stick around. He's been on nearly ever goal against for the past few games now.
