I almost took that post seriously. I hope you're proud that you posted 16,000 times to a Leafs forum in 7 years because I'm a bit embarrassed that I've wasted the time to post 3100 times in almost 20 years.
You have to be the most melodramatic person I've ever seen on here.

So with all my posts, each post taking on average about 15-20 seconds:

16,383 posts×15 seconds/post = 245,745 seconds

So I registered this account on September 28th, 2017 - 2577 days.

So 2,577 days divided by 245,745 seconds, which is approx. 1.59 minutes per day spent posting on HFboards.

OMG, 1.59 minutes a day on average wasted posting on HFboards, the humanity!

See how utterly ridiculous your condescending nonsense looks in perspective now?

Lololololol. Your math assumes that you spent zero time actually READING the forums and only posting. So funny.

You get the point. In today's day and age with how much time people waste on nonsense how exactly is this supposed to be some "embarrassing" outlier?

You can cut out the melodramatic nonsense, that's what's embarrassing.

Hard to believe you've been on these boards since 2005, considering your posts have the maturity of a 12-year-old's social media account.

C'mon man. How many posts do you read before you actually post something. You're kidding yourself if you think you're only spending 2 minutes a day on here. I bet you've already spend an hour or two in the last two days. Do some honest math and get back to me.

I dunno, Maybe 20ish mins total? Mostly killing time waiting on other shit.

This is completely off-topic anyway, And in the grand perspective, who even f***ing cares how much one spends on an internet forum? If that actually interests you, you have one seriously small mind.

Oh you mean telling people "you're a loser and you have no life" in response to their criticism of Marner isn't a well thought-out and sophisticated argument?

This guy is the biggest joke on here, the level of projection coming from this guy is just comical.

I suggest just ignoring his replies. Ill be doing that going forward. Unless he wants to talk hockey.

Probably a good idea. This is multiple times now this guys tried delving in on people's personal lives.

Just for me strictly - I don't get 2 shits about anyone's personal life on here, can't be bothered to care.

I have many reasons why I strongly disagree, and this is just one of them.

I don’t think a regular season superstar would rank 13th overall and 10th overall in 5v5 P/60 in the league, especially considering Marner plays alongside a proven NHL superstar.
C'mon man, I thought you knew how to look this stuff up.

If you believe that, not sure you understand what melodramatic means. Why do you feel the need to justify your posting habits? If you want to post 1000 times a day, peace, that is your thing. If a guy wants to take a break for the summer, peace, that is his prerogative, there is no right or wrong here.

Because it's multiple times I've seen him go at posters with that "argument", and I just cannot wrap my head around it at all. Who even cares how much some folks post per day?

I'm actually fully with you on this one.

I don't think many would argue that he has consistently been among the best point producers in the regular season for many years now.

The issue many of us have is that he hasn't been able to translate that regular season success in the playoffs. In fairness to him, he's not the only core player to have struggled in that regard, but Marner in particular seems to have struggled in all facets of the game in the playoffs. He has been a borderline liability at times with the lack of time and space in the post season.

I have been a proponent of trading him in the past to better utilize the cap space elsewhere, but if Berube is able to unleash something in Marner in the post season, I would be happy to eat crow and support the decision to sign him to a lucrative contract extension in Toronto.

I don't recognize you but some of us have been dealing with people who think Marner sucks even in the regular season for years now. You may take over the mantle of trying to change their minds. There are more than you think.

As for the playoffs, if you care, go back to about page 12 and read my posts particularly about defensive play.

Yet he has more playoff points then any leaf player. This past playoffs he was a huge plus player.

I don't understand, this team couldn't win jack when they were younger. Now they are just getting older and more expensive without any success. How do you expect to win? It's a waste of time following this team. Marner can f*** off. Seriously. So you guys expect to win with him making more money, but getting older and slower with every passing season? Insanity.

Why you guys expect to be different than Chicago? They actually won when that core was young and relatively cheap. Once they got older and more expensive they won nothing. We won nothin when our core was younger and cheaper, but you expect to win when they are older and much more expensive?

Do you think plus/minus is a good way to measure a players worth?

Do you think he played well in the playoffs against Boston last season?

Do you think he played well in the playoffs against Florida the season before that?

Disingenuous, he has produced at a pace over 100 points multiple times.

So why sign Matthews or Nylander then?
He has never produced 100 points. Real points not expected or projected points real points. Prove me wrong
