Marner vs Nylander, who do you take moving forward?

One's a playmaker, the other is a better goal scorer. Kind of unfair to compare the two using a stat that will always favor the goal scorer.

Willy had more goals than Marner had assists in last year's playoffs, in fewer games.

Nylander.

Marner is just a stat-paddiing pretty boy that cannot, absolutely cannot, elevate in the post-season.
Nylander (occasionally) plays with jam and has none well in the post-season and regular season.He's also got killer flow.

Just watching them, Nylander looks a lot more impressive. But I can't deny that Marner has been effective. Still, Nylander is the type of a player who might still have another gear.

At 11.5 I take Nylander, and I'd obviously also take Nylander at the 12.5 that Marner will be asking for and likely gets.

Marner will get 10 more points playing with Matthews and in all situations, but Nylander is a more dynamic offensive player with his shot, speed and strength that he becomes more difficult to account for when the games start to mean things.
