That he may have private security is fine - the guy got carjacked. Take some precautions.
That Mirtle is saying he's using private security to harass members of the press is concerning if he is having his staff do that OR that Mirtle is making that claim and it not be true.

Mirtle mentioend it. And other members have mentioned it in the past. Isn't a new thing. Mirtle saying it though is a bit bigger as hes a big fish in terms of media ppl.

I hope it’s not Boucher just because that’s some lifeless hockey to watch. Berube is fun to hate and has that “Boston killer” on his resume. Could make sense.

Yeah, that is one of the fears of some fans on the Leaf board- that they will just promote and assistant. Though with Boucher- he is thought to be in charge of the power-play.

. But get ready for games 5, 6 and 7 is be the new normal. Not so fun over 82.This fan base is so toxic. I get why other fan bases hate it..... hope he leaves and dominates us when he plays here....

The Leafs fans are very toxic. They blame Marner completely while a worse player in Matthews get a pass.

To be fair Matthews was dealing with illness/injury, he came back in game 7 and was putting in an effort. It's hard to blame him for that. Marner was healthy as far as we know.

Some have blamed Marner, others have blamed what they call the core four, some have given one or more of them a pass while others have blamed other players. This year Marner had such a poor start to the playoffs.

Gilmour , Wendyl, Tucker, Sundin, CuJo , Roberts, Andreychuk, Potvin , Burns, Nolan, Moginy, just to name a few who never won anything in T.O and were still treated great by fans and media.
Marner is an arrogant little $hit and that's why some fans have no problem heckling him. And it is really no more than rhat......just heckling.
I'm sure he would if he could.......play better in the play offs.
