That's not merely what I think. That's what a very VERY clear precedent states. Anything higher than that would be flat out unprecedented.

I think you're preaching to the choir a bit here. We'd all love Marner to sign for 9.5M (~11.5%). I think thats fair market value. However, when Nylander and Matthews both sign > 10% market value, you'd expect Marner can too. That would put him at approximately 10.5M. I can tolerate that if it is 6+ years.
