Hes a Red Wing. Its possible he was skating in Toronto and did an interview here. He was likely wearing an NHLPA jersey.

As for our D line up, we will experience injuries. We need to have reliable guys to fill in. It wont shock me if Nonis signs a UFA Dman before the first game of the season.

He's from Toronto and spends his off season here which is probably why he was there. As soon as a tentative deal was reached, some players left their respective off season homes and returned to their NHL cities right away (Lupul, O'Brien, etc), guys like Kessel came back in September (when normal training camp would have begun) and I think spent most of the lockout conditioning in Toronto and then some guys still haven't gotten back to their NHL cities yet. I guess Colaiacovo fits into the last category.
