Andersen lets in the first shot of the game off a point shot. Might have deflected off a Marlie. Even if he returns to form (unlikely), you have to run Campbell at this point. Freddy hasn't been able to get it done at 100% for years, why would that change now?

This happens far too often with Fred.

It's just poor positioning. Nothing to do with his body.

At least when Woll gave up those point shot goals he was screened or the puck was tipped. That was a clean look on a shot that was not even a snipe or in a tough area. If he was just in the right position, that is not a goal.

Robertson has looked pretty good the last few games. He seems to be getting a feel for the league now.
5 shots in the 1st period alone. His shot output is pretty crazy.

I prefer him playing his strong-side on the PP, which is how he scored last game. He has a wicked one-timer but AHL teams are cheating to his off-wing and forcing him to take long range shots from further out. There is no other pure offensive threat on the PP. His strong side allows him to coast higher in the zone with less pressure or dive in for a second chance in the slot. He gets boxed out of the play waiting for one-timers.

The fact that he's sitting at 15pts in 18.3 games so far is really impressive considering how bad this team has been.

Yeah it also seems to me that his teammates are looking for him more as the shoot option. I felt he was getting looked off a bit by Petan and other vets but now he is more of a go to guy.

This after 53 shots in his first 19 games so he may be getting back to his sniping ways. He was 5.5 per game in the O last year. Hope he keeps this tempo up.

I don't blame Freddy for the 1st goal, but he is was completly committed to the other side, and gave himself no chance on the tip. The 2nd and 3rd umm they need to be stopped.
