Cowan just scored another

Two goals in the game.

I wonder if Leafs were a bottom feeder, a team in 27th. - 32nd. in the league with zero expectations they are competing for ANYTHING other than another top 10 pick, would Cowan be on the team?

If you don't care about a complete player, would they have him on the roster just poaching points?

Victor Johansson's game just came to a close, 4-1 late. He ended up with an apple on the empty netter to seal the game but before that I was already reasonably impressed for my first ever watch!

Skates really well, head up all the time and isn't afraid to jump up into the rush offensively (got caught a little bit once or twice but part of that is teammates not recognizing and covering for each other).

He is pretty physical, nothing shocking or incredibly noticable but finishes all his checks and he might be a bit of a dick? He has like 20 Pims more than the next guy on his team and he absolutely buried a dude with a cross check from behind towards the end of the game and got 2 for it lol.

Played most of it as LHD on the right side, they only had one RHD out there so it was pretty fluid looking.

Thanks for the update.

I guess the flaw for him is still going to be needing to put on like 20-30 lbs if he's still in the 140's

If he looked NHL ready, or close to it, maybe they would keep him in such a scenario. He really didn’t look close to me, and I’d expect some AHL time next year as well.

I wonder if too much effort was put into getting bigger?
Seemed to be a focus.

I'm getting the impression the Marlies line-up looks like:
  1. LW-nobody-RW
  2. LW-nobody-RW
  3. LW-nobody-RW
  4. LW-nobody-RW
Who is the GM of the Marlies and why hasn't he addressed the fact the only center on the team is a 20 year old rookie?

Has Steeves been playing center in the AHL?

Are Blandisi and Shaw not playing centre?

Didnt realize they were playing so soon! This seems like a better use of my time than changing the tires on my car... though its supposed to snow in like 10 minutes.
In Calgary, put mine on a month ago.

We can get buried in September (usually breaks trees because still full of leaves), but I like to wait until later October but had out of town traveling throughout October and didn't risk it.

Yes, hockey watching >>>>> changing tires.

2-0 Sens. Marlies have had 3 PKs to 0 PPs so far. Not much generated offensively 5 on 5.

Minten, Greb, Rifai and Myers have looked good. I also like Niemela, Quillan and Tverberg.

Greb almost scored on a nice little rush, and then Minten made a great board play and a sweet pass to Nylander, Subban makes another big save.
