He can do those things. Definitely a project and gonna need some developing but I'm sure we'll be interested, especially as a late 2nd round pick or even 3rd round pick.

Also, Marlies win 2-1 in shootouts. Blandisi the hero, Quillan with an apple, Matt Murray cool as a cucumber stopping 37/38 (I think).

Didn’t watch the whole game, but Haymes looked strong on the draw and Prokop was on pp2.

Update:

still lots available, but I imagine alot of the AHL/ECHL adds are lower tier than what's here. I can't see TOR giving out many more ELC's if Kirwan himself is an AHL deal - which is a nice get.

Came up with a more comprehensive list of external prospect targets. If the Leafs can largely build from this list, I think they'll be in a good spot. Every single player is an '01 or younger. The Europeans mentioned are '02's who don't seem to have a contract in place next year and the CHLers don't currently have NCAA commitments. A lot probably get ELC's so can only get some, not all.

Those are nice traits that tend to play well with the other forwards on our roster

If he wants to hit, turn pucks over, go to the net and shoot off the rush there's a place for him if he's good enough

From the description, he sounds a lot like McMann. Late bloomer, good size, Good outside speed, drives the net. Good shot. Takes a ton of shots. Scouts say he will have to adapt to the pro game as he won’t have as easy a path to the net.

Lotsa good right handed forwards free of charge, not so much of the power forward variety from what I’ve read.
Bancroft, Hutson and Hughes all have ties to the organization and/or the area, and there’s not a lot in their way with opportunities coming up soon.
Edit: Ellis Rickwood is from nearby Brantford too.
