Was looking up the stats on moneypuck the other day and noticed that Markström leads the league in high danger save% above expected, with 0.202 above expected.

That is, for high danger chances, the expected save% for Markström has been 68.7% but he's actually had a 88.9% save percentage on them.

(though keep in mind these are on unblocked shot attempts which means it counts missed shots as saves, since moneypuck gonna moneypuck)

Unrelated side note:

Words aren't enough to convey how absolutely trash garbage junk atrocious pile of dung Twitter videos are.

he’s still at max flexibility in his mid-30s, that much is clear

Exact opposite of what the devils were getting with their goalies last year.

Oh, and just for good measure he threw in an okay one earlier

if he had caught the puck it would have been a ho - hum save that happens every night. The theatrics with the glove hand flying is the only thing that makes it appear exceptional

Not what I'd call a ho-hum save at all, most goalies probably wouldn't have been able to recover quickly enough after that last pass.
