Could Patrik Laine be the next Marko Dano? Hear me out. Both had exceptional starts to their careers only to end up with coaches who absolutely DESPISED them. Marko Dano could never recover, and most fans (and apparently NHL coaches) weren’t hockey smart enough to see him for what he was, being a legit top 6 scorer. Same could be said for Laine.
