I once did kind of a personal "soul searching" (if you will) while I still lived in Arizona and thought about where I'd like to move, if I moved. Being who I am, I automatically eliminated anywhere without an NHL team nearby. Then I eliminated places with cold weather in the winter, and added in some personal reasons as well as a desire to stay out west. I ultimately landed with the San Francisco Bay area, since there are the San Jose Sharks nearby. I also had ruled out Vancouver because of media pressure (the other six Canadian cities got the axe due to the "cold" factor).
This was before the Seattle Kraken existed, but if I redid this sort of "soul searching," Seattle would be included. Throw in that I'd have loved to play for my hometown team, but they don't exist anymore, and I'm not so sure I'd want to live in Utah.
So I guess that leaves me with the San Jose Sharks and Seattle Kraken as my ideal destinations for teams I'd most like to play for.
