Thorburn gone, Pavelec gone, Stuart gone and everything points toward the fact, that we're getting at least league average goaltending this year.
All this pretty much says: Our front office is FINALLY ready to take **** serious. It's about to get real in Winnipeg guys!

Just realized, this has to mean we have a LHD lined up. If not, Chiarot is penciled in as our 3LHD, and if he goes down, Poolman will play his off-side as a replacement. Seems fishy.

But super glad that he won't be in the que to get ice time when the inevitable injuries come.
Definitely looks like a LHD D signing is coming.
Also clears the path for Nogier, Niku, Poolman and others to compete for the 6 & 7 spots with loyalty factoring in.

They seem like they are definitely bringing someone in and hopefully that's above Chiarot.
Poolman's injury status forces them to look at other options in the early part of the season. Can't see him jumping straight into the NHL in October with the rehab he's doing now (especially on his offside).
Seems like all the Jets fans angst that the rumors of us being in on Alzner may come true. Hopefully Chevy is a bit more shrewd than that on this one!

Possible. But I would hate to sign him for 6x5 like his rumoured asking price, he isn't worth it

I don't think Chevy will pay alzner the money, could see something like kulikov or maybe a trade with the amount of forwards we have. Nothing big though
