If he is producing like he is now....a 57 point pace...I am sure a few teams will be looking to add him to their PP.

Realistically....a 2nd rounder....plus ? The plus will likely depend in his play/health. Could be another 2nd like Polak deal, could be like Timonen where it was a 4th that became a 2nd due to Chicago winning in the playoffs.

Also could depend on who else is available on the market.

I think this is the most likely value he'd have. A 2nd and a conditional 2nd. I doubt that he'd garner a 1st as he's a pure rental, 2nd pairing dman at the tail end of his career.

Ladd was a pure rental last year (as Chicago had no chance of re-signing him), on a bad season and still returned a 1st + prospect. A second-pairing D is no small add to a roster. Every contender would want to add that to their depth.

I could see him returning a 1st. Not saying he's worth it, but I wouldn't be at all surprised.

Come deadline, if the Flyers are in sell mode. What would be the asking price for pending UFA Mark Streit?

Like others have said, a 2nd plus. The Flyers window is opening, so they may be looking for potential 3rd line players that are maybe 3 years away as that plus. I doubt they would be too stoked on 2 draft picks, but they are losing him at either the deadline or the end of the season, so I'm sure they'll take the highest value that they can get.

In lieu of a 2nd+, a low A level forward prospect (LW in particular) could be in play, but it would have to be the right value.

I think in terms of position for any prospect C is what they would want... LW was only recently a hole... but has kind of worked itself out pretty quickly!

Konecny has shown he can play there in the NHL, Schenn hit 59pts last year there, Lindblom is playing amazingly in the SHL, Aube-Kubel can play there, Raffl plays there, Leier is looking like a decent future bottom sixer, Laughton is a LW going forward, Lyubimov can play there...

I mean, ofc I think if there was a difference in offers they just go BPA, but C is probably the biggest prospect/young player need now. (a 3C is really the Flyers gaping forward line-up need. We have Vorobyov+Rubtsov but don't know how far away they are.)

Would be cool to see the Jets offer up a second. A top 6 of
Morrissey- buff
Enstrom - myers
Streit- Trouba

Would be unreal. If helle starts playing good wed be going for it I think

2nd + B prospect or 3rd

Could be a major boon to a powerplay, either 1st or 2nd unit.

2nd rounder + Andrew Copp

Would that be too much to give up for Peg fans?

Or something around Adam Lowry... he is a guy who is likely left exposed in expansion no? Though since Lowry is more established likely a lower pick coming with him?

Just as bottom 6 C is a need and both have the potential to be solid 3C's in the near future.

They may prefer to keep Copp as he's exempt from the ED.

According to the crowd sourcing on CF, the Jets protected list will be:

https://www.capfriendly.com/expansion-draft

Schiefle, Wheeler, Little, Perreault
Buff, Enstrom, Myers, Trouba

Of course, if they trade a dman they could protect seven forwards insetad of just four.

Playing him on your third defensive unit but top powerplay unit could be effective. He chips in with clutch goals all the time.

I just don't see chevy trading lowry or copp realistically. I could see burmi plus a pick, 3rd?

Burmi has no value...Hextall got a 3rd for Rinaldo. A 3rd for McGinn. A 3rd for Grossmann.

He will get more for Streit....who has 10 points in 14 games....and 4th in Dman scoring.

If he keep playing at a 40 point pace or more, expect a 2nd+ to be the return. A 1st is too much....a 2nd too little.....somewhere in between.

I could see a 2nd rounder or possible 1st if there is a playoff-bound team desperate for a defenseman who can help them on the powerplay. Whether the Flyers are in a playoff spot or not I hope they get rid of him.

Could see this especially if the Flyers retain 50% of the remaining contract. Deal would look something like a lesser version of the Kris Russell deal from last deadline. Conditional 2nd that could become a 1st depending on how deep the acquiring team goes plus a meh prospect to even out the contracts.
