Youtube: Mark Kastelic vs Emil Lilleberg

Kastelic seems to hit head off of the ice after losing balance --- cheap cross-check to the face could easily be a 1 game suspension.

That was an assault on Lilleberg, who has the right to defend himself. And Kastelic got what he deserved, knocked out. Lilleberg landed a solid right on Kastelic's chin, hard to see because the punch was so fast.

Where? He didn't throw a single punch.

Kastelic was out there for one reason, in the dying seconds of a game that was already over. He just took a run at Lilleberg right before this, then you see him look up at the clock and decide to do it again with a few seconds left. The kid wasn't going to let that slide and protected himself. Yeah he catches him high but the stick rode up a bit too, heavy dose of hockey karma right here.

Nothing wrong with playing until the end but you have to live with the consequences if you decide to go that way. Next thing you know he's being helped off the ice by 5 people, safe to say that backfired horribly. Lilleberg has no fighting background overseas and he's learning on the job against some tough players, can't blame him at all.

Tuesday in Boston could get wild.

Really...here's a better quality video. Kastelic takes a punch to his jaw just before he goes down, the rapid backward movement of his head confirms it.

Yeah, idk about that. His right hand never lets go of Kastelic's jersey the whole time. Would have to see it in super slow mo. It does look like his head snapped back but he was also getting jerked around.

He hit his head on the ice, lol.

He didn't get "knocked out" from a punch. People are just making things up.

Call me old-fashioned, but I didn't have a problem with either party here. Getting your stick up when someone takes a run at you is justified. Kastelic sending a message late is better than not doing it at all if Lilleberg did something dirty prior. Was it reckless of Lilleberg to bring Kastelic down to the ice in the way that he did? Yes. He's not obligated to be honourable in that situation that transpired.

There was no punch that knocked Kastelic out.
I dont care if it was a punch or a dick slap

You have to admit, it was funny and poetic watching him stumbling around like a day time drunk afterwards trying to act like he wasnt the asshole who started the shit

Oh yes there was. Most of us who aren't Bruins fans can see that.
I already told you his hand never let go of the jersey. So you he landed a KO punch while holding the jersey?

Your boy got knocked the f*** out after f***ing around

perfect karma

Video speaks for itself
Yeah from getting his head slammed on the ice which I don't give a f*** about. If you don't like old time hockey then you're in the wrong forum.

Nah, i don't get the jollies of watching a guy who's likely concussed from getting his head slammed on the ice.

I have no problem with Kastelic going for the hit, and I don't have an issue with Lilleberg getting his stick up. I just don't like to see players get hurt from having their head slammed.

lol .. its old time hockey when a B tries to dirty it up. Pearl clutchers when its the other way around

Like I said .. funny af to see your guy not being able to stand up after trying to take a run at a guy

Just admit .. its a bad look trying to goon it up in the dying seconds of a decided game .. and admit your guy got manhandled

Its funny thats all.

Uh no, I like when any team starts rough stuff and in the dying seconds of a decided game is the perfect time to do so. Just admit that you like soft hockey.

There absolutely was no punch that knocked out Kastelic. It was the thrust to the ice. He legitimately hits the side of his head.
Lets just say that Lilleberg clearly outmuscled your guy.

LOL. Time for an eye exam Sheppy. He was hit with a clean right and, in boxing terminology, took a standing 8 count.

It wasn't the punch that knocked out Kastelic. At no point did his right hand lose the grip of Kastelic's jersey.
