Played okay today, had some good moments but I thought when he and both Sleep were out there together they had several miscues including one pp goal against.

I get the feeling he might see a playoff game with the injuries piling up for this team.

He played a lot in the 3rd and didn't look out of place protecting a lead for the most part.

Man this guy was terrible. One of those players a few posters loved though and thought would be an NHL player. Boo took over that spot afterwards.

I remember calling him "the Frog" because his name sounds like the sound a frog makes. And some people thought it was a slur

Hrivik was kind of like Fogarty to me--good team guy but AHL level player was what he was. A step too slow skating--a step too slow thinking the game.

He's doing well for himself in the SHL. Guy will make a good living playing pro hockey. It doesn't always have to come from the NHL. Good to see him succeed. This was a guy that worked his ass off when he was here. I was happy to see him get the call-ups. You don't have to play to get that tier one per diem.

I agree he was a little behind the play when he was here, but I thought he deferred when he was in the show. There was a real case of senioritis, or being caught in the moment when he was here. Sometimes it's a systems fit, sometimes the player has to just play. That's not a criticism of the player, it happens on all teams, with all players, every year. But to the current Ranger prospects, or anyone getting minutes, it goes to show you that you have the make the most of your minutes when you get the chance. The best way to do that is just to go play without thinking about how you might be perceived.

I still think if circumstances had been different, he could have stuck. We were always f***ing around on the bottom line with guys like Stoll, Glass, Pirri, etc. I think if he found himself on a team with no depth, a bad team, that he could have maybe carved out more of a consistent role. He went to Calgary and got hurt and then left at the end of the year and never looked back. Glad he's doing well. He plays on the same team as Calle Själin.
