I'll admit I knew very very little of the player.

Limited viewing, him and Karlson looked like shit early this year.

Im really warming up to him as a player. The series of trades are lacklustre considering that we easily gave up the best player in the deal.

But MP I think I will like in a Nucks uniform.

Get through the first few games that it takes anybody to adjust and yes you will. He's a quiet player quick stick knows where to be and can move the puck

His fight card has some pretty tough customers on it. Not that he's a great fighter by any means but if he can provide a little bit of second thought before other teams take runs that's an added bonus.

Biggest question I'm looking to answer about 3Petey is what his transition game is like. A little while ago some pundits were saying he wouldn't be a good fit for this team because he has a terrible first pass.

Others have said--especially since the trade has happened--that his transition game is a + attribute. Can't say i have a sense either way, and that's really the element that will determine how good a fit he is.

If he is better than Soucy and Myers at getting the puck going up ice, we now have a very strong blueline. If he's on par or below those two, then we've just repainted the deck chairs on the titanic.

They only brought this guy to make search algorithms confused so they could dilute criticism against EP40. It's a shrewd move that only a technological genius like Rutherford could pull off. The man probably knows how to restart a computer and read emails, which at his age is basically quantum physics.

He's averaged 30 ESP/82 in each of the last 3 seasons so he must be doing something right.

My impression have been that he's a gangly, lanky guy who spits long passes forward really well.

I mean when your D partner is Karlsson you're kinda getting thrown to the wolves defensively

Yes.

And my sample size was like 3 games.

Pens are still bad but they were dreadful to start the year when I saw them play.
Oh they are absolutely horrible even today. Watching them play the Sharks was one of the most boring games I've ever watched live. The only saving grace was getting to see Crosby and Celebrini score a goal. The rest of the game was almost unwatchable.
