You can admit you're wrong you know? Suzuki isn't even an elite center. Point wise he's up there with Eriksson-Ek.

Faber alone would get Suzuki and Matheson. Add in a budding young center who gets around the same points as Suzuki, a top 20 NHL prospect and another 1st in a deep draft? Hell I don't think I'd trade all of that for Drai either.

That person could take Minnesota’s 22 year old #1D out of the proposal and I would still say no.

Matheson sucks, as evidenced last night.

Minnesota has no reason to trade Yurov+1st to upgrade from Rossi to Suzuki. There’s a legitimate chance that Yurov will be a really good top 6 center. Cannot give up on him before he is given a shot.

Ok, but given the windfall of cap space upcoming, the Wild will be in even better position next year and could maybe upgrade a Rossi/JEE 1/2. What if Rossi could be used to land a Pettersson from Van for example, not remotely suggesting that's likely, but it could along the lines of Guerin's thinking given he's about to hit the cap space jackpot

How do they fit Pettersson under the cap this year? That's a 10M difference in cap and everyone on the Wild outside of Boldy, Spurgeon and Trenin have NMC.

Maybe Rossi and Trenin for a C upgrade but outside of that I don't see any way Rossi is traded this season.
