He's not really 0/3 because it's not a binary system of measurement, it's a spectrum.It’s also okay if he plays wing where he won’t be exposed as lacking in the defensive zone and faceoff department.
He’s 0/3. Move him to wing.
- He's not good at faceoffs yet, but that's normal for young centers, and he's not the worst in the NHL at them, and he will likely improve as most young players do.
- Defensively he puts in effort but isn't strong enough on the puck. That's normal in young players and is a thing that will likely improve to some degree. He's at least smart enough that he gets into the right spot most of the time.
- I'm not sure what the third thing is and I don't care enough to look back.
The main thing is that he's already good at the hardest part of the game, and is young enough to improve enough to likely become competent at the parts of the game he isn't good at yet.
