Typical cowardly play from a coward on a cowardly hockey team.

The persecution complex from some Bruins fans here is hilarious. Absolutely pathetic.

I think it's the damage of 2 goals and 1 assist in Game 7 that you're upset about.

People have so much outrage here. It's a special hate that's reserved for the Bruins when they're winning. Meanwhile, no one is outraged about the way dirtier hit by Kreider.

keep that to the thread on the Kreider hit already....that has no business in this thread....unless you are confusing krieder in white with marchand in black...

Yes. All fans of other 29 teams have a collective plan to 'hate on Bruins'. Can't make this stuff up!

But the hypocrisy is so easy to point out. Not a peep of the outrage from anyone here about a worse play. Makes one wonder if it's really outrage at all.

Marchand slewfooting and being dirty? check. bruins fans not being able to accept that he is dirty and grasp that people hate their team for the fan base and dirty play and think it has to do with how "successful" the team is? check.

no video posted of the other hit in the other thread so how could we react to it if we didn't see it?

I think plenty have accepted he is dirty, I think you shouldn't generalize so much.

No because a 2 minute board where no one got hurt really isn't worthy of "outrage"

Dirtbag play but the overreaction because of who did it is as predictable as a Leafs fan purposing Jake Gardiner to Colorado for ROR. Marchand is what he is; a grey area player who pisses everyone off.

Usually you get a fine for a slew foot, but Marchand has been fined before (Dec '11, slew foot on Niskanen) While he's been clean for a few years, they may still take that past into account. Needless to say, spin the wheel.

Guess you missed when he speared Subban in the groin earlier in the season. I guess that is clean now?

Crosby slew foots at least every other game or so. Brassard cut off Marchand forcing him to lose his balance. They were battling for positioning. No penalty no fine no suspension. [MOD]

What?

Of course a Bruins fan is blaming Brassard for this. I guess Brassard didn't follow the code or something like that, which makes it totally justified.
