Maybe he wants a surer way to get a chance at the cup, wouldn't be the first long-timer to ask something like that.

And I say 'surer', cause the Bruins are 4th in the division, with the most games played out of the contending teams, Ottawa and Montreal have 2 games in hand and just 2pts behind, while Tampa, who's only 1pts ahead, have 3 games in hand. Detroit have some kind of resurgence lately, too.

Division is a clusterf***, any team can come on top, even Toronto and Florida ain't that far ahead, but trailing teams can get ahead of Boston pretty easily.

As a Bruins fan I hate where they currently sit because I don't want them wasting assets to try and add to this mess. I agree they are very poorly positioned and really, they just aren't a good team. One of those years' teams have and the Bruins were do. But that's what I meant. Marchand may come to them and say he wants to take a run at another cup for the season and help the team acquire some assets and then just comes back hopefully in the off season.

Would be the right team to add him. Would be cool for Ovi also to win a cup the year he breaks the record.

Marchand and Wilson on the same team would open up the salt mines. Would be amazing to see him a Cap. I think Chara had a good experience as a Cap. Might as well get another Bruins future HOFer.
