Ullmark's numbers are pretty crazy!
Forgive me as I don't really follow other teams (at least not this year), but is this just a good goalie behind a great team, or has Linus actually been playing like Martin-Dominik Roy this season?
I can’t answer your question but all I remember is he had real good number on a shit Buffalo team last year and he was the guy I wanted in the off season. I cry thinking about what our team would look like if we had Ullmark and Skinner as a tandem.

Getting Campbell is karma for not trading for Georgiev/Korpisalo or picking up Kuemper/Husso/Ullmark/Samsonov
I’m convinced that they figured they were on such a good roll poaching Toronto players that it was a no brainer to go after Campbell. I think there was some tunnel vision and ego involved in the decision making on that one.

"Let's sign Campbell. He can't be worse than Koskinen"

Ullmark is helping the Bruins win, but isn't winning it for them

Ullmark currently is not playing as good as Markstrom did for Vancouver for instance.

Hell, Bos almost missed playoffs last year and it was Swayman who was the fan fave.

Seems many ppl love to salivate over the here/now/hindsight scenarios.

Sorry, I have to do it.

Celtic punk is fun.

Kane is coming back and Marchand is on the other team. This should be fun providing the Bs don't blow us out. :thumbu:

I don't understand the NHL. Absolutely bombard broadcasts with sports betting ads. 50 minutes to game time the Oilers starting lineup still hasn't been released.

If you're putting .938% you're helping regardless. That's like saying RNH is a PP specialist but he's on pace for 100 points. It's still good to have him

Campbell is responsible for 10 winnable losses at least. If it was any other goalie, we'd win those games

What the f*** Woody, what the f***? Why is Kostin scratched again against Boston of all teams where you need all the physicality on deck, all this guy does is drive results at even strength. Who gives a fook if he doesn't PK, the Oilers have enough PK forwards with him in the lineup. This is some Dave TIppett shit level coaching.
This isn't to slight Shore who has performed admirably in recent games but....come on now, Kostin is clearly the more impactful guy and is a guy they should be continuing to develop.

Excited for this game for some reason. Do I love Kane? Is it Ekholm?
Not too excited about Kostin sitting but I understand why the coach would want the more responsible forward to slot in against a very smart Bruins team.

I like Kostin but why is Boston in particular the opponent we need Kostin for? It's not like they are a bruising team anymore.

Could it be that he isn't 100% like people said about the Jets game? Although he did play against the Sabres so I don't know.

That does make sense about Kostin. It could be that for this opponent it's more important to be focused on puck possession and have role players like PKers and face-off guys in the bottom six

He's a good goalie but the numbers aren't reflective of his actual ability. Think Brian Elliott's .940 sv% the one year in St Louis. He's better than Elliott, but his numbers are inflated.

With a healthy team, it makes sense to sit guys who aren't 100% to prevent them from having lingering injuries. Like Kostin maybe be technically healthy to play, but he may still have some aches and pains, so with less than 20 games left, it makes sense to sit those players.

And I really don't think its Woodcroft not liking Kostin as Kostin was getting playtime all over the lineup earlier in the year.

Boston has the best D group since Anaheim in 07 imo. They’re actually built very similar
