While it may be best for the next decade to draft top 5, if the Bruins do slide into the playoffs... add McAvoy and Lindholm.... it gets interesting.

The PK should be better with effort and structure. The PP will be a disaster due to lack of talent.

However 5v5 a few tweaks (Brown, Lettieri) and this roster could at least make for an interesting playoff appearance.

Lindholm shutdown for season.

You gotta think he's proud of them and most likely was happy with the outcome. I'm sure once he's on the team on the team he will feel different but I'm sure in his mind he's still very much captain of this group.

It hit me the day after he left how much Coyle was floating for anywhere between 20 games and the whole season from camp on out. Normally, I say after a trade: You were a good Bruin best of luck. Coyle was a goodish Bruin, but this season and a few other failings left a bad taste in my mouth.
