  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Cant help but think Marchand may struggle on Florida when he does play. I just get the feeling he isn't really happy to be there despite smiling in his interviews and what not . I truly don't think he wanted to be traded and only said Florida he'd go to because he didn't think the Bruins would aactually send him there

That reeks of... Boston benching him out of precaution knowing they were about to trade him, and still choosing the lowest possible return because the rest of the NHL thought he was injured?

I suspect we lose, and we aren't catching Ottawa or Columbus so no playoffs, but I am still interested to see the new guys and what we have. I see Sacco's likely going with the same line up as the Tampa game. I wish he'd try Mittlestadt with Pasta for a few games to see if that would work (playmaker with goal scorer and both guys can go high speed) but maybe he will shake it up after some losses. It's more about looking ahead now than the present but it's hard to get coaches to do that.

If Sacco hasn't been told he isn't going to be the next head coach, then he's coaching for his career- I'd expect him to focus on the now. I would prefer they start trying different combos, moving some players up and down, and from Providence to see what things might look like going forward.

Definitely.
I suspect they haven't decided on next year's coach and they want to keep their options open should somebody they like be fired before this season ends. Sacco will try to win right now, as would I if I was in his shoes.
