would love for him to be announced as a starter, take the ice, get his flowers, then sit on the bench for the rest of the game.

In fairness, the target demographic for this is kids.
The team played really good in Carolina and even better in Tampa.
Was it all adrenaline?
New guys wanting to impress?
If nothing else, it makes tonight's game even more interesting to see if they can maintain the intensity they showed in Tampa.
I'll say this again here, line changes on the fly in Tampa were really impressive.
All season they have lollygagged to the bench - not Saturday in Tampa.
5 man unit off 5 man unit on the ice almost instantaneously.
Big big difference.
And it showed in the rest of their game Saturday.
I want to see the same tonight. - no complacency.

Well he is gone can’t really change that now ,so wouldn’t mind getting a 1st for him.
Ekblad will not be playing he has been suspended for using performing-enhancing drugs. He is suspended for 20 games.
If he plays tonight this fan who will be there will not be “hyped” but will be pissed. If not in non-contact jersey is he really that injured? Did Brad or someone else misrepresent the 3-4 week timeline? My guess is the practice video is just trolling. I’m not ready to see him on Garden ice in a Panthers jersey
