Those of you who go way back as Kings fans will probably remember Marc. He recently passed away at age 70 in Nashville. He was definitely one of the most dedicated hockey fans I've ever met and a long time Kings fan before moving to Tennessee about 10 years ago. I enjoyed knowing him for the last 45 years. RIP Marc.

I'd love to get the word out to as many of his friends as possible so if any of you are in contact with guys like Matt Barry (i.e. Dancing Boy), Tommy Nast, Mel Powell, or Pat Perry please let them know. I'm sure there are many others but those are the names I remember most from back in the day.

I remember Marc being quite popular with the mods on here and LGK. His posts and insight were greatly missed, and I'm sorry to hear about his loss. May he rest in peace.

I ran into him on the concourse during the first intermission of Game 1 of the Kings/Blues series in St. Louis in 2013. He mentioned that he had just moved to Nashville and had driven in for the game. He joked about how crazy we were for making what was essentially the same travel time as a cross-country flight, just to see the Kings play (I was living in Chicago at the time). My now ex-wife thought it was weird that I talked for 15 minutes with someone I only knew from a message board, some people just don't get it.

He was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about the Kings, but about the NHL as a whole.

RIP, Marc. Thank you for all your contributions to the Kings fan community.
